Veterinarian Nicole graduated from the Median School of Allied Health Careers (now known as the Vet Tech Institute) with a degree in veterinary technology and a veterinary technician's degree in emergency medicine. She has trained in ER clinics, studied in medical school and is certified by the American College of Emergency and Critical Care.
She and her husband, Dr. Adam Hauser, moved to Alabama when she took a job at the University of Alabama. After graduating, she began working in Banfield, Virginia, and moved to Hoover, where she joined the staff of Hope Animal Clinic. After graduating from Texas A & M, she moved back to Alabama and worked as a veterinarian for the Alabama Department of Health and Human Services (ADHHS).
She later completed her PhD at Auburn University, where she worked with exotic animals such as birds, reptiles, dolphins and sea lions at the Gulf World Aquarium.
After attending the veterinary school, Dr. Sotrop was a veterinarian at the Wildlife Hospital in Louisiana, where she worked as an animal nurse, veterinary technician and veterinary assistant. From routine health care to surgery, the Hoover site works hard to ensure our pets are in good health. We pride ourselves on a level of care that ensures that every pet receives the best possible care.
